“America was built upon a foundation of Christian-Biblical-Principles… and if we lose that foundation, then we will surely lose our nation !"
Is America truly a Godly or Christian Nation?
Well let’s see: Our nation’s most popular holiday is “Christ-mas" and “ThanksGiving"…to GOD” is in the top 3. Both are national holidays. Government is shut down and so are schools. Churches are everywhere in our communities and are overwhelmingly Christian. The State Constitutions are full of religious references – all of them. The Pilgrims and many of our original colonists were devout Christians. To say that all of our nation’s people are christians or that all our nation’s Founders were orthodox Christians is surely false. However, what is very apparent to anyone who begins a study on the subject is that: “The United States has a Christian Culture. Our Institutions were founded on Christian Principles and the primary religion in our nation is without a doubt Christian!” As an introduction, here is YouTube Playlist of a number of videos addressing the subject. Playlist thumbnails appear after you start the video and hit the center-most knob at the bottom.
“In no charter or Constitution is there anything to even suggest that any other than the Christian is the religion of his country”……I could show you how largely our Laws and Customs are based upon “The Laws of Moses and the Teachings of Christ”; How constantly the bible is appealed to as the guide of life and the authority in questions of morals…….On every hilltop towers the steeple of some Christian Church….I could go on indefinitely, pointing out further illustrations both official and non-official, public and private; such as Thanksgiving proclamations, with their following days of worship and feasting; announcements of days and fasting and prayer; the universal celebration of Christmas; the gathering of millions of our children in Sunday Schools, and the countless volumes of Christian literature.
A Christian Nation!

Some notable organizations set up to assist Christian young men. The First being,"The Young Men's Christian Organization, also known as the YMCA, founded by 22-year-old "Charles-Finney-Inspired-George Williams in 1844" as a refuge of "Bible Study and Prayer" for young men seeking escape from the hazards of life on the streets of London. Brought to the Old South Church in Boston on December 29, 1851, by an old retired sea captain by the name of Thomas Valentine Sullivan. The link to their website and it's history is here:
The next is the Boy’s and Girls Clubs of America. Founded in 1860 in Hartford, CT., it expanded into the“Federated Boys Clubs” in 1906 Boston, and was later renamed,“The Boys Clubs of America” in 1931. Has a “Boys & Girls Club Code, which says:
- I believe in God and the right to worship according to my own faith and religion. - I believe in America and the American way of life…in the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. - I believe in fair play, honesty and sportsmanship. - I believe in my Boys & Girls Club, which stands for these things.
