This Bible Epic produced in 2001 is a well produced movie that all should enjoy. The story is centered around the Apostle Thomas who is the one, if you can remember the bible story, required additional proof to believe in the resurrection of Jesus. The movie is focused upon his "Love of the LORD and the "Search For That Proof" which continues throughout most of the movie. How does the story end? ....well many of you have read The Gospel of John 20: 24-29.... Watch the film. We think you'll enjoy it ! There doesn't appear to be a website but I found a listing on IMDB which you can link to by clicking on the image above. This Movie Appears to Be #4 in a Series of 4 "Friends Of Jesus Movies", which we will now keep our eyes open for....  Website Link The Basketball story of Jeremy Lin..... A documentary about his basketball life, starting from a his childhood to the beginning of his NBA Career and his "Miracle Season" with the New York Knicks. The producers did a nice job with this movie and we consider it worthwhile viewing for any basketball fan or athlete who is working toward a future in the sport of basketball. Jeremy Lin and his family all have a "Strong Christian Faith" and at every step along the way credits this belief in GOD for his successful basketball experience. He also refers to "Godly Intervention" in his beginning struggles and eventual "Miracle season" with the New York Knicks. A very touching and well-made movie production. Out of the "American-Old-West", a family of four is devastated by the death of their main bread-winner, husband and father at the hands of an outlaw. This man, Henry Myers, while fleeing his criminal associates, unknowingly comes face-to-face with the family of the man he killed as they "Nurse Him Back To Health From His Wounds". When this "Bible-Believing-Family" realizes what this man has done, their ability to "Forgive" is sorely tested. Erin Bethea from the movie "FireProof", is cast in the role of wife, mother, and family-spiritual-leader and stages a commendable performance. In 1848 a young couple venture west through the American Wilderness in a Covered Wagon in search of new opportunities. Disaster strikes as her husband is killed and his wife is faced with surviving in the wilderness all by herself. She eventually finds the way back to civilization with the help of a new young friend who provides a rather unexpected ending... Interesting movie !! When I began watching it, I had no idea of what it was about and in the beginning found it a chore to watch....but we warmed up to and we think you will too. We've decided to add this to our list of favorites since "The Story Is Different" and because "Acting and Production-Quality" is exemplary !! Melva, Ken and Jim Eckland "Only Once" From Bristone Films IMBD Site Link - No Website Another pleasant surprise !! Even though the movie was less than one hour in length, what a nice production!! The producer of the film, "Bristone Films" no longer has an active website so it was alittle difficult finding information or even where to purchase it....( I bought my copies through Amazon). I did find a listing for the movie on IMDb and here's it is. The story is about two teens who fall in love and make one mistake....the one that results in pregnancy and the future parents are still in high school. Not only is it a nice movie to watch, but it becomes a "Wonderful tool to be used in Church Youth Groups." To remind our teens to be careful... and that it takes "Only One moment of Weakness To Change Our Lives Forever "!! A last note, "Background Natural Scenery is Sensational ! Jim Eckland  Website Link This movie which is actually a spin off of "The Four Part Bible Series" shown recently on "The History Channel". Narrated by and based on the "Gospel Of The Apostle John", using much of the cast from the previous series. This is a high quality production with good acting and excellent background music.The movie pretty much follows the Gospel message but as a rule the dialogue was changed to give the movie a certain degree of "Uniqueness" as compared to previous movies about Jesus Christ. One additional comment concerning the music: What an excellent job the producers did using background music to lead up to the Impending Drama especially when Jesus performed his miracles.... Film opens up in a board room with members Conscience, Heart, Mind, Will, Emotion & Memory debating whether or not to let Jesus Christ In as Chairperson. Nice debate, I was surprised with the quality of the acting and overall production. An excellent 30-Minute Evangelist Video for introducing The Gospel Of Jesus Christ.
